The VPC-CA65 performs well when shooting movies in low light conditions, thanks to its high-speed image-processing LSI. Set to Auto, it can shoot effectively down to a luminance of about 7 lux. In Lamp mode, meanwhile, it automatically adjusts the frame rate and can shoot high-sensitive moving images down to 2 lux. When it comes to shooting stills, the VPC-CA65 takes 6-megapixel images at up to ISO 1600. It captures beautiful natural colors and facial expressions in dimly lit rooms or at night—situations where you may not want to use the flash. The original image stabilizer function* compensates for shaky hands, so you’re better able to shoot movies wherever and whenever you like.
